Ingredients

1 large bunch spring onions
2 tablespoons olive oil
1 teaspoon sea salt
1 lime, juiced

Method

  1. Trim the tops from the spring onions and toss with the olive oil and sea salt in a large bowl.
  2. Heat a griddle pan on high heat until smoking, then place the spring onions on it in a single layer. Lower the heat and griddle for 5 minutes per side, until nicely charred.
  3. Squeeze over the lime juice and serve immediately.
