Wonderful with pan-fried or grilled fish or roast chicken, and as an accompaniment to roasted sweetcorn, grilled halloumi or toasted sandwiches, this salsa is a grown-up fruit salad that means business.

Ingredients

Quantity Ingredient
1 large, ripe mango, diced
2 medium avocados, diced
50-60g watercress, leaves picked and stems finely chopped
1-2 red chillies, finely chopped, seeds and membranes removed if you want less heat
1 small red onion, diced
25g chives, finely chopped
40g dried mango, cut into thin strips
sea salt, to taste
3 limes, juiced

Method

  1. Combine all the ingredients in a bowl and stir.
