Yasmin Newman's Story

Born in Sydney, Yasmin is a true sum of her parts – spirited mother, inquisitive father and a cultural mix from an extended family from around the world. A love of adventure was in her blood, as was a desire to understand the world. Over the last 10 years, Yasmin has lived and worked worldwide, from Paris, Los Angeles and Mexico to the Philippines. In between, she’s travelled voraciously. She also works as a columnist and freelance writer, presenter, photographer and dessert recipe tester. Her work has featured in a range of media outlets, including MasterChef Magazine, SBS, ABC delicious., FoodService Magazine, Selector Magazine, The Foodies' Guide to Sydney and SMH Everyday Eats.
