Juice is refreshing and makes you feel so good when you are feeling tired or just a bit down. That pure shot of vitamins can give you the energy kick you are looking for. I recommend using organic ingredients for juicing.

Root vegetable juice

Ingredients

Quantity Ingredient
500g beetroot
500g carrots
30g fresh mint
500g dessert apples
100g whole unwaxed lemon

Method

  1. Peel the beetroot, and the carrots if not organic. Cut everything into small chunks and press through a slow juicer for a great-tasting, freshly squeezed juice.

Spinach and pineapple

Ingredients

1kg pineapple
500g spinach
20g fresh ginger

Method

  1. Peel and core the pineapple, rinse the spinach and peel the ginger. Cut everything into small chunks and press through a slow juicer.

Cucumber and tarragon

Ingredients

Quantity Ingredient
500g pineapple
700g cucumber
1 tablespoon fresh tarragon leaves

Method

  1. Peel and core the pineapple. Chop everything into small chunks and press through a slow juicer for your great, tasty, freshly squeezed juice.

Tip

  • You can replace the pineapple with apple in the second two recipes, if you prefer.
