This is a great alternative to Gløgg, and I always serve it for one of my Advent Sunday gatherings.

Ingredients

Quantity Ingredient
600ml Elderberry cordial
6 cloves
150g raisins
100g blanched almonds, chopped
150ml dark rum

Method

  1. Mix the elderberry cordial with 1 litre of water and the cloves. Bring to a boil, add the raisins and almonds, reduce the heat and simmer for five minutes. Remove from the heat and add the rum. Serve very hot, in glasses.
