Cinnamon porridge with blueberries and honey

Ingredients

Quantity Ingredient
100g rolled oats
250ml water
250ml reduced-fat milk
1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
100g fresh blueberries
honey, to serve

Method

  1. Combine the oats, water, milk and cinnamon in a heavy-based saucepan. Bring to the boil, then reduce heat. Simmer, stirring occasionally, until porridge thickens and oats are cooked through, approximately 5–6 minutes.
  2. Spoon porridge into bowls, scatter blueberries and drizzle honey over the top. Serve with extra milk if desired.
