I know that when I have made pizzas for mates in the past they love a good spicy version. Therefore this is brilliant to do, especially if you’re making it for boys; you can see how much spice they can take.

Ingredients

Quantity Ingredient
4 pizza bases
8 tablespoons Basic tomato sauce for pizza
250g hot pepperoni, sliced
12 slices preserved red or green jalapenos, drained
500g cheddar cheese, grated
4 tablespoons chilli oil, (optional)

Method

  1. Preheat the oven to 200°C. Put the pizza bases on baking trays and spread each one with 2 tablespoons of the sauce.
  2. Scatter a quarter of the pepperoni slices and the jalapeños over each pizza. Finish off with the cheese and chilli oil, if you’re using it.
  3. Cook in the oven for 15–20 minutes until golden brown.

Optional extras:

  • Depends how far you want to go. Feel free to chuck on some more jalapeños.

Serving suggestions:

  • When it comes out of the oven drizzle the pizza with some more chilli oil.
