Every student becomes a master at being thrifty with their money. Days are spent hurrying from one lecture or tutorial to the next, and then before you know it, it’s lunchtime. Regularly buying a salad or a sandwich and a drink can start to cost a fair bit, but if you make your own food to take into uni you can save your money for much better things instead.

I’ve included my favourite wraps, sandwiches, salads and couscous recipes here. They’ve served me well, being both delicious and portable. None of them take long to make, just give yourself 10 minutes extra in the morning and you’ll be good to go.
