Dried fruit is great for your student store cupboard and it lasts longer and is slightly more economical than fresh fruit. It’s also readily available at all times. My favourites are dried apricots and I love them like this.

Ingredients

Quantity Ingredient
110g dried apricots
1 tablespoon raisins
1 banana
600ml milk

Method

  1. Place all the ingredients in a jug and use a hand held blender to whizz until everything is combined.
  2. Pour into a large glass and drink.

Optional extras:

  • A teaspoon of honey is delicious in this if you have some lying around. Fresh mint is also amazing and turns it into a very zingy summer drink.

Serving suggestions:

  • Tip some ice cubes into your glass and drink it chilled.
