Ingredients

Quantity Ingredient
100g walnuts, pecan nuts, cashew nuts, hazelnuts almonds or a mixture
2 tablespoons honey
2 teaspoons salt
1/2 teaspoon mild smoked paprika
1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper

Method

  1. Preheat the oven to 150°C. Mix all the ingredients to coat the nuts in honey and spices. Spread them on a baking tray lined with greaseproof paper and bake for 15 – 20 minutes, stirring halfway through. The nuts should be golden but not burnt. Leave to cool, then chop roughly and sprinkle over the finished salad.
