Ingredients

Quantity Ingredient
200g rolled oats
500g milk
2 bananas, sliced
ground cinnamon, to serve
honey, to serve

Method

  1. Soak the rolled oats in 500 ml water overnight.
  2. Transfer the oats to a saucepan and pour in the milk. Bring to the boil, then reduce the heat to low. Cook, stirring regularly, for 20 minutes, or until the porridge is thick and creamy.
  3. Divide the porridge among four bowls. Top with the sliced banana and sprinkle with the cinnamon. Drizzle with honey and serve immediately.

Variation

  • For a healthy boost, finely grind 1 tablespoon each of pumpkin seeds, sunflower seeds, linseeds and chia seeds and sprinkle over the porridge.
