Ingredients

Quantity Ingredient
1 slice butter, 1 cm thick
1 egg
1 tablespoon granulated sugar
1 tablespoon vanilla sugar
or 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
5 tablespoons plain flour
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon grated tonka bean
or 1/2 vanilla pod, seeds scraped

Middle

Quantity Ingredient
1 large square dark chocolate

Method

  1. In a mug: melt the butter in the microwave for 30 seconds (800 watts).
  2. One by one, whisk in the egg, sugar, vanilla sugar, flour, baking powder and grated tonka bean. Cook in the microwave for 40 seconds (800 watts). Push the square of dark chocolate into the middle and cook for a further 50 seconds.
  3. Allow to cool for 1 minute before eating.
