Stir-fried crab claws and prawns

Ingredients

Quantity Ingredient
2 sponge gourds
2 brown onions
1 tablespoon vegetable oil
1 teaspoon smashed and chopped garlic
250g crab claws
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon sugar
1 tablespoon oyster sauce
1 teaspoon fish sauce
250g raw prawns, shelled and cleaned

Method

  1. Peel sponge gourd and roll-cut into 5 cm pieces. Peel onions, cut each one lengthwise into 8 wedges then separate into petals. Heat a pan, add oil and heat. Add the garlic, the crab claws, salt, sugar and oyster sauce and stir-fry over high heat. Add the sponge gourd, the onion and the fish sauce and stir well, then put a lid over the pan for 1 minute, lift it off and stir again. Add prawns and stir-fry until the prawns are cooked. Remove the pan from the stove and serve.
