Just reached the end of your jar? There’s no need to despair – make overnight oats! These recipes work best if you use your almost empty jars, as the oats absorb the last nut butter scraps inside.

And if you’re having one of those mornings (you know, the ones where your alarm didn’t go off, the kids are having a pre-school tantrum or your car won’t start) you can just grab your jar and head out of the door. Pronto.

Ingredients

Quantity Ingredient
50g oatmeal
1 apple, grated
50ml apple juice
100ml full-fat natural yoghurt
1 medium banana, sliced
30g sultanas
1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
10g flaked almonds
15g almond butter

Method

  1. Simply add all the ingredients to the jar, give it a good mix and leave in the fridge to absorb all the liquid overnight. When you get up in the morning just empty the jar into a bowl and add some more nut butter and fruit.
