No, that’s not a typo but our coined word for this delightful banana and almond healthy ice cream. It doesn’t contain any cream, so not only is this ice cream super tasty but it also counts towards your five-a-day. Ice cream for breakfast, anyone?

Ingredients

Quantity Ingredient
4 ripe bananas, chopped into 3cm chunks and frozen
2 tablespoons almond milk
3 tablespoons Plain nut butter, we used almond
1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon

To serve

Quantity Ingredient
1 tablespoon grated dark chocolate
1 tablespoon flaked almonds

Method

  1. In a food processor, blend the frozen bananas and almond milk together to a smooth consistency. Add the almond butter and cinnamon, and blitz again.
  2. Transfer to a freezer container and freeze for 1 hour, then serve sprinkled with grated chocolate and flaked almonds.
