This is one of my favourite shakes. It’s really delicious, filling and full of protein. Perfect for post-workout or for when you are in need of a satisfying something to keep you going.

Ingredients

Quantity Ingredient
1 banana, peeled and frozen
250ml almond milk
1 tablespoon smooth peanut butter
1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1 scoop chocolate protein powder
1 teaspoon maple syrup
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
ice cubes (optional)

Method

  1. Put the banana in a food processor and blend until thick and creamy, scraping down the sides every 30 seconds. Process until the mixture becomes completely smooth and has the consistency of soft-serve ice cream. Add the rest of the ingredients to the blender and blitz again, until smooth. For an extra-cold smoothie, add a few ice cubes. If it’s too thick, add a little more almond milk.
