These savoury biscuits keep well if stored in an airtight container, so they may be made days before required.

Ingredients

Quantity Ingredient
1 quantity Cheese pastry
beaten egg, for glazing
slivered blanched almonds
sea salt crystals

Method

  1. Preheat the oven to 190°C. On a lightly floured board, roll out the dough to about 3 mm thick. Using a fluted, round cutter cut out circles arranging them on an ungreased baking tray. Brush with egg glaze, sprinkle with almonds and a pinch of salt crystals. Bake for 15 minutes, or until golden.
