Ingredients

Quantity Ingredient
125g butter, softened
1 1/2 cups icing sugar mixture, sifted
60g dark chocolate, melted

Method

  1. Cream the butter in a bowl using a wooden spoon or use an electric mixer. Gradually beat in half the icing sugar mixture. Beat in the chocolate then beat in the remaining icing sugar mixture.

Note

  • Melt the chocolate gently on a heatproof plate over hot water. Alternatively cocoa powder can be used by substituting 1/3 cup of the icing sugar mixture with the same amount of cocoa.
