Ingredients

Quantity Ingredient
500g shelled green prawns
salt and freshly ground pepper
a dash tabasco sauce
Fritter batter
oil, for frying

Method

  1. Devein prawns. Season with salt, pepper and a dash of Tabasco. Dip prawns in batter and drop separately into hot oil. Cook only a few at a time. When golden, drain and serve very hot with lemon wedges.
