Method

  1. A 750 ml bottle of Champagne or sparkling wine pours 6–8 glasses. On this basis 8–12 bottles of dry Champagne will see you through the party for 25 guests. Serve Champagne well chilled. Lay flat in the refrigerator for 2–3 hours or, preferably, in tubs of ice for 1 hour.
