Ingredients

Quantity Ingredient
1 lettuce
90g mung bean sprouts
90g tinned water chestnuts, thinly sliced
30 slivered almonds, toasted

Asian dressing

Quantity Ingredient
30g spring onions, chopped
1 teaspoon fresh coriander, chopped
15g parsley, chopped
1 teaspoon fresh ginger, grated
1 tablespoon soy sauce
250g light sour cream
2 tablespoons * mayonnaise [rid:4557]

Method

  1. Rinse and dry lettuce and refrigerate until crisp. Tear into serving pieces, place in salad bowl and scatter bean sprouts and water chestnuts over.
  2. To make dressing, mix all dressing ingredients together and drizzle over salad. Scatter almonds on top and toss lightly. Serve immediately.
