190g wild rice

Method

  1. Cover rice with cold salted water in a saucepan. Bring to the boil, skim any foreign particles from top and drain.
  2. Bring 750 ml fresh water to the boil, add 1 teaspoon salt and stir in rice slowly. Cook without stirring for about 30 minutes or until grains are tender, adding a little more boiling water if necessary. Fluff up with a fork before serving.
