Ingredients

butter
Boiled rice
or Steamed rice

Method

  1. Generously butter a ring mould, dariole or other individual moulds. Drain boiled rice well but do not run water through it.
  2. Pack hot rice firmly into moulds, rest in a warm place for 3–4 minutes, then place a heated serving plate over each mould and invert it and plate together. Rap sharply on table to release rice and lift mould off carefully.
