A 1960s dish enjoying a revamp.

Ingredients

Quantity Ingredient
125ml tomato puree
2 drops tabasco sauce
1/2 teaspoon lemon juice
2-3 tablespoons cream
lettuce, shredded
1kg cooked prawns, shelled and deveined
thin brown bread, buttered
4 lemon wedges

Method

  1. Combine tomato purée, Tabasco sauce, lemon juice and cream. Place shredded lettuce in 4 individual dishes, arrange prawns on top and spoon sauce over. Serve with triangles of buttered bread and wedges of lemon.
