Method

  1. Poach some prunes in red wine until they are plump. Drain, stone and stuff with an almond and anchovy fillet and wrap in bacon.
  2. Cook quickly under a preheated grill or in a hot oven for 4–5 minutes. Serve on hot buttered toast.
