Ingredients

Quantity Ingredient
60g butter
60g dark chocolate
2 tablespoons boiling water
160g icing sugar, sifted
a pinch of salt
1/4 teaspoon vanilla essence

Method

  1. Melt together the butter and dark chocolate in a bowl over a saucepan of hot water. Beat in the boiling water, icing sugar, salt and vanilla. Use as a glaze over chocolate cakes.
