This recipe is for your baby and is also lovely mixed with sweet potato (or another root vegetable) purée. Regularly serving your baby green foods will help guard against the phobia of ‘all-things-green’ that commonly hits at around 2 or 3 years.

Ingredients

Quantity Ingredient
250g edamame beans, steamed or boiled
70g plain yoghurt
water
or your baby’s milk

Method

  1. Remove and discard the skins from the steamed edamame and place the beans in a food processor. Add the yoghurt and as much liquid as needed to reach the desired consistency.
  2. Set aside one serving and freeze the remainder in individual portions.
