Ingredients

Quantity Ingredient
500g strawberries, washed and hulled
1/4 cup lemon juice
1 1/2 cups sugar

Method

  1. Put the strawberries and lemon juice in large microwave-proof bowl. Cook on high, uncovered, for 3 minutes. Add the sugar, stir well and cook on high for a further 20 minutes, or until the jam thickens a little. Allow to cool for about 5 minutes, then stir to make sure the sugar is fully dissolved. Ladle into sterilised jars and seal.
