Ingredients

Quantity Ingredient
1 slice slightly salted butter, 1/2 cm thick
1 tablespoon caster sugar
1/2 teaspoon lemon zest
1 egg yolk
2 tablespoons plain flour
2 tablespoons ground almonds
1/2 teaspoon poppy seeds

Method

  1. In a mug: Melt the butter in the microwave for 20 seconds (800 watts). Beat in one by one the sugar, lemon zest, egg yolk, flour, ground almonds and poppy seeds.
  2. Cook in the microwave for 1 minute (800 watts).
