Smoky tomato pan-chutney

Some dishes just call out for a tangy side of tomato chutney and my version cooks in just 10 minutes. I love serving it warm.

Ingredients

Quantity Ingredient
8 ripe red tomatoes, finely chopped
2 teaspoons vegan worcestershire sauce
1/2 teaspoon caster sugar
1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika
2-3 drops hot chilli sauce

Method

  1. Add the tomatoes to a pan, along with their seeds and juice, and 5 tablespoons cold water.
  2. Add the Worcestershire sauce, sugar, smoked paprika, and hot chilli sauce.
  3. Cook over a medium-high heat for 10 minutes, breaking up the tomato chunks as you stir.
