Not exclusive to Christmas, cranberry sauce is a simple fruit sauce that can be served with many dishes. I’ve even been known to load it onto veggie burgers! This is a family recipe that has been around for many years.

Ingredients

Quantity Ingredient
1 unwaxed orange
250g fresh or frozen cranberries
3 tablespoons caster sugar

Method

  1. Coarsely zest the orange, then slice it in half and squeeze the juice into a pan through a sieve. Add the zest. Tip the cranberries and caster sugar and cook over a medium-high heat for 5 minutes, stirring frequently.
