Serve boiled eggs halved or chopped on top of a bowl of noodles of your choice.

Method

  1. For the runny 5-minute egg, bring a saucepan of water to the boil and gently drop in room-temperature eggs. Put the timer on for 5 minutes, then carefully remove the eggs. Run them under cold water and peel.
  2. For the almost set 7-minute egg, bring a saucepan of water to the boil and gently drop in room-temperature eggs. Put the timer on for 7 minutes, then carefully remove the eggs. Run them under cold water and peel.
  3. For the set-yet-creamy 9-minute egg, bring a saucepan of water to the boil and gently drop in room-temperature eggs. Put the timer on for 9 minutes, then carefully remove the eggs. Run them under cold water and peel.
