These noodles are a creamy citrus sensation.

Ingredients

Quantity Ingredient
100g instant noodles, cooked according to the packet instructions, drained and 2 tablespoons water reserved
11/2 tablespoons butter
1 lemon, juiced and zest grated
handful cheddar or parmesan, (optional)
cracked black pepper

Method

  1. Add the reserved noodle water, butter, lemon juice and zest to a saucepan and heat up, mixing well to blend. Turn up the heat and add the noodles and cheese, if using, and a good amount of cracked pepper. By this time, the noodles may need another 1/2 tablespoon water as they continue to absorb the sauce. Take off the heat, grab a fork and eat.
