In the last few years, green smoothies have been all the rage and I do still love them, but there’s a new gang in town called the BOWL. It’s much prettier and it’s easy to add some delicious toppings.

Ingredients

Quantity Ingredient
1 banana, (frozen if you want a cold bowl)
120ml coconut water
3 dates, pitted
large handful spinach
1 kiwi, peeled
1 teaspoon acai powder

For the toppings

Quantity Ingredient
raspberries
coconut flakes
bee pollen

Method

  1. Put all the ingredients in a blender or food processor and whizz away.
  2. Top with raspberries, coconut flakes and bee pollen.

Note

  • Not only is the Açaí berry high in antioxidants that help to fight free radicals, but it’s fantastic for your digestion, too.
