Ingredients

Quantity Ingredient
165g seed mix, (such as pepitas and sunflower kernels)
4 tablespoons light soy sauce or tamari
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1 1/2 teaspoons sea salt
1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper

Method

  1. Preheat the oven to 180°C. Line a baking tray with baking paper.
  2. Lay the seeds on the tray and roast for about 10 minutes.
  3. Mix the soy sauce with the garlic, sea salt and cayenne pepper.
  4. Take out of the oven and sprinkle the tamari mix over the seeds, making sure they are all coated.
  5. Bake for about 10–12 minutes, or until the seeds are dark brown (but not burnt!).
  6. Let them cool on the tray, then sprinkle with a little sea salt and serve.
