  • The Promoters of the competition are Bloomsbury Publishing Plc (on behalf of Cooked.com) and Ancestry Information Operations Unlimited Company, 70 Sir John Rogerson Quay, Dublin 2.
  • The competition is open to UK residents aged 18 or over, except employees of the Promoter or its group companies, their immediate families and their agents.
  • The prizes available are 10 x AncestryDNA kits with an individual value of £79+P&P.
  • Competition begins Tuesday 5 September 2017. Closing date is Friday 22 September 2017.
  • One entry per person.
  • Competition is open to UK & Ireland residents only.
  • To enter, entrants must visit Cooked.com during the promotion period and submit their recipe via email to info@cooked.co.uk including a full recipe and clear, high-resolution image of the final dish. Entrants may also enter by submitting their recipe and image as a reply to any of the AncestryDNA Recipe Ebook competition related Facebook posts on Cooked Facebook page during the competition period
  • No responsibility can be accepted for entries incomplete, delayed or not received.
  • Entries that are found to not be an original creation will be removed from consideration.
  • Ten prize winners will be chosen by Cooked and AncestryDNA after the closing date based on the quality and originality of recipes and winners will be notified via email within five working days of closing date.
  • Each prize winner will receive an AncestryDNA® kit which contains full instructions on taking the test, sending the sample for testing and accessing the results online.
  • All submitted recipes will be eligible for use in the Ancestry/Cooked recipe ebook and entrants will be contacted once the competition is over to confirm the usage of their recipe and any further information or details required
  • There is no cash alternative and the prize is non-transferable and non-refundable. The Promoter's decision is final and binding on the entrants - no correspondence will be entered into.
  • The prize will be delivered to the winner within 28 days of confirmation of delivery address.
  • Winners must respond and provide a valid email and postal address for the prize to be delivered to.
  • If a winner does not respond with the required contact details within one week of receipt of the message, the Promoter reserves the right to re-award the prize with no further obligation or liability to the initial winner(s).
  • The Promoter’s decision is final and binding. The Promoter reserves the right to modify, cancel or withdraw the competition without further notice. Entrants acknowledge that they are providing their information to the Promoter and not to Cooked and to the extent permitted by law, releases Cooked from any and all liability in relation to this competition. Any questions, comments or complaints about this promotion must be directed to the Promoter and not to Cooked.
  • Entrants, by submitting recipes, give their consent for the recipes to be used by the Promoter within an eBook available for free download from Cooked and Ancestry.co.uk, as well as any supporting promotional or marketing activity for the eBook, worldwide, in perpetuity.

Any personal information received by the Promoter in connection with this prize draw will be used solely in accordance with the Promoter’s Terms and Conditions and Privacy Statement and you also consent to the Promoter using your name and county of residence for administrative purposes relating to the competition.
