Ingredients

Quantity Ingredient
500g margarine
2 eggs
1 cup caster sugar
500g ground almonds
4 cups plain flour
5 tablespoons vanilla sugar
icing sugar, for dusting

Method

  1. Preheat the oven to 180°C. Line a baking tray with baking paper.
  2. Mix all the ingredients using an electric mixer or in a food processor until smooth.
  3. Remove the mixture from the bowl and roll into long, thin logs. Cut the logs into 8 cm lengths, then roll each one into a crescent shape. Arrange the crescents on the baking tray and bake for 30 minutes.
  4. Allow the biscuits to cool slightly, then dust with icing sugar.
