Ingredients

Quantity Ingredient
2-3 teaspoons mild chilli powder
1/4 teaspoon ground cumin
400g can of red kidney beans, drained and rinsed
4 tablespoons water
1/2 portion Basic bolognese

Method

  1. Add the chilli powder, cumin, kidney beans and water to the Bolognese sauce.
  2. Bring up to boiling point then turn the heat down and simmer for 5 minutes until thoroughly heated through. Serve on its own or with boiled rice or a baked potato.
