Chia pudding topped with fresh berries and chopped nuts is a wonderful little treat to have for breakfast, a snack or even dessert. However, in this book we like to pair it with our smoothies to create beautiful layers, like in our Mango & Chia Parfait and Kiwi, Kale & Chia Parfait. If you have a sweet tooth, you can always add a touch of pure maple syrup or raw honey, but if you combine the chia pudding with one of our sweet smoothies, there’s no need to add a natural sweetener.
