I always like to have a little tandoori masala paste and kashmiri paste on hand. As the spice masalas are first roasted and then fried, the resulting pastes can be added at the end of cooking to give your curries a nice flavour boost when desired. Following is my kashmiri paste recipe. You can make a tandoori masala paste using the previous tandoori masala recipe. Just follow the frying instructions for kashmiri paste below. Both pastes can be stored in airtight containers in the fridge for about two months with little loss of flavour.
