This is probably the most popular chutney served in Indian restaurants. Some chefs add a little food colouring to make it bright green.

Ingredients

Quantity Ingredient
270g plain yoghurt
1 tablespoon Garlic and ginger paste
1-3 bird’s-eye green chillies, to taste, very finely chopped
1 lime, juiced
1-2 tablespoons commercial mint sauce of your choice, to taste
pinch salt

Method

  1. Place the ingredients in a mixing bowl and whisk to combine until smooth. Cover and place in the fridge for at least 30 minutes before serving.
