Tofu and bean sprouts

Ingredients

Quantity Ingredient
380g firm tofu
2 tablespoons oil
2 garlic cloves, crushed
230g fresh bean sprouts, trimmed
soy sauce, to taste

Method

  1. Cut the tofu into thick slices.
  2. Heat the oil in a wok or large heavy-based saucepan over low heat. Add the garlic and cook until golden, then add the bean curd and bean sprouts and stir-fry for 3–4 minutes, or until heated through. Add the soy sauce, to taste and season with the salt and freshly ground black pepper. Serve immediately.
