This quantity is sufficient for marinating 500 g beef, pork, chicken and most other meats.

Ingredients

Quantity Ingredient
1/2 teaspoon fresh ginger, finely grated
1 teaspoon garlic, finely chopped
1 teaspoon spring onion, finely chopped
1 teaspoon sesame oil
1-2 teaspoons sesame seeds, toasted and crushed
1 tablespoon light soy sauce
2 teaspoons honey or sugar
1/4 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper

Method

  1. Combine all of the ingredients in a bowl and stir well until the sugar has dissolved. Add the meat and leave to marinate for 2–4 hours at room temperature before cooking.
