Ingredients

Quantity Ingredient
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon ground turmeric
1 teaspoon chilli powder
16 raw large prawns, peeled and deveined
2 tablespoons sesame oil
2 tablespoons peanut oil

Method

  1. Mix together the salt, turmeric and chilli powder in a bowl. Add the prawns and toss to coat in the spice mixture. Thread 4 prawns onto each skewer.
  2. Heat the sesame and peanut oils in a large heavy-based frying pan over high heat. Cook the prawn skewers, turning once, until cooked through and golden. Serve hot.
