Cucumber and yoghurt

This dish can be served with any hot curry and your guests will be very happy. It has a soothing effect and balances the chilli and spice flavours of curries.

Ingredients

Quantity Ingredient
1 cucumber, peeled, seeded and chopped
1/2 cup onion, finely chopped
1/2 teaspoon green chilli, chopped
1 cup plain non-fat yoghurt
1/2 teaspoon ground cumin
1/4 teaspoon chilli powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon sugar

Method

  1. Mix all ingredients together and place in the fridge for 10 minutes.
  2. Serve chilled.
