Breakfast for me should be eaten like a king, so if it’s a smoothie in the morning I like something a little more ‘meal-like’. The mango is sherbet-y and refreshing, while tahini and almond milk create a thick, creamy consistency that gives my body the sustenance it needs first thing in the morning. I like to use almond milk from The Pressery.

Ingredients

Quantity Ingredient
200ml almond milk
2 bananas, peeled
1 mango, peeled and coarsely chopped
1 lemon, juiced
1 cardamom pod, seeded
2 teaspoons tahini
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
drizzle maple syrup

Method

  1. Combine all the ingredients in a blender or smoothie maker.
  2. Add an ice cube, if you like your smoothie extra cold. Drink immediately.
