200g pitted medjool dates
100ml water
1/2 lemon, juiced
1 tablespoon maple syrup

Method

  1. Place the dates in a saucepan with the rest of the ingredients.
  2. Bring to the boil and simmer for 20 minutes. Take off the heat and leave to cool.
  3. Store your jam in a sterilised jar. This will keep for up to 6 months in the fridge.
