Ingredients

Quantity Ingredient
1 tablespoon rapeseed or olive oil
1 garlic clove, finely chopped
1 red onion, finely chopped
1 x 400g tin cannellini beans
1 x 400g tin chopped tomatoes
1/2 teaspoon dried chilli flakes
1 teaspoon finely chopped rosemary
1 bay leaf
1 tablespoon tomato purée
salt
freshly ground black pepper

Method

  1. Heat the oil in a pan, add the garlic and onion and cook until soft.
  2. Add the rest of the ingredients to the pan and simmer for 20–30 minutes. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
